LCCM
Youth Music NextGen Creatives
As part of the awards, we offer 18-25 year old creatives paid opportunities to work on the event, alongside a team of experienced professionals.
Having young people involved makes the event unique, and what differentiates it from other industry award ceremonies. We're therefore excited that LCCM (London College of Contemporary Music) have come on board this year to sponsor these roles.
NextGen paid roles include hosting, video editing, production support, and running and all those working at the event will also receive training opportunities to help progress their careers.
Notion
Partner
Notion is a popular culture-focused media group producing innovative stories, editorial content and brand partnerships across print, digital, video and experiential. London-based but built from a network of contributors all over the world, Notion celebrates new music, emerging creative and cultural innovators, and encourages inclusivity, collaboration and eclectic tastes.
Sony Music
Travel Fund
This year, we have a total of 45 projects and young people nominated for the Youth Music Awards, coming from all corners of the country. With 84% of our funding being outside of London, travel continues to be a major barrier for nominees attending the event. However, at Youth Music, we strive to make the awards as inclusive as possible and aim to overcome the obstacles that prevent nominee presence. With the sponsorship from Sony Music, every nominee will have the means to attend the awards, and celebrate their success with a room full of their peers and industry professionals.
RSL Awards
