About Arts Council England
Arts Council England’s support is central to the success of Youth Music, having supported the charity since its foundation in 1999 using public funding f rom the National Lottery. They are the national development agency for creativity and culture. By 2030 they want England to be a country in which the creativity of each of us is valued and given the chance to flourish and where everyone of us has access to a remarkable range of high quality cultural experiences. Between 2018 and 2022, they will invest £1.45 billion of public money f rom government and an estimated £860 million f rom the National Lottery to help deliver this vision.

Come Play with Me (Yorkshire and the Humber)
Eva, and her business partner Holly, founded Grrls Do That Too around two years ago (aged 16). The project supports women in music on stage and behind the scenes to create safe spaces where ‘grrls’ are comfortable expressing themselves. Eva has gone on to partner with organisations such as Independent Venue Week and curates Come Play With Me’s annual Women and People Of Marginalised Genders in music events. She also founded a podcast Grrls Talk Too in January 2021, was a youth assessor for the first round of the Youth Music Incubator Fund and is being promoted to Label Manager at Come Play With Me.

Reprezent (London)
5TATIC (Stan Sorrell) is the founder of South East London record label and collective South Space Records. He hosts a regular show on Reprezent Radio, showcasing new rising talent in electronic and club music. South Space is dedicated to being fully self-sufficient, f rom the design and production to the marketing and promotion. Last year, South Space worked with upcoming Tokyo producers, swapping sample banks of city sounds f rom around their home city with London producers to form a collaborative album through sound.

Lil Trubz
School Ground Sounds (London)
Lil Trubz is a 25-year-old music plugger, rapper and youth worker f rom Brixton, South London. He created ‘Tracks On Tap’ in October 2018 - a platform/community for up-and-coming artists. By February 2019, he started running monthly open-mic nights at Streatham Space Project which were mentioned in GQ Magazine. After their first ever sold-out-show in March 2020, despite lockdown Tracks On Tap continued growing, leading to collaborations with SBTV, KISS FM, Bl@ckbox, Break Comms, 8BarsApp and more.
