Youth Music's NextGen Community Series headed to Bristol to host an event on all things radio, sync and A&R, for young artists to get their music heard.
Taking place at Strange Brew, young creatives from Bristol and beyond met and mingled, before the panel began.
For this particular event, we brought together a panel of local music industry experts to share their tips and tricks for music discovery as an emerging artist.
Hosted by presenter Stacey Olika, the panel included Youth Music NextGen Fund artist A for Alpha, a DJ who runs Alpha's Trip Records, Sophia Ahmed from Saffron Records, and Leon Pattrick from Noods Radio, both Youth Music funded partners.
Performances
After an engaging panel discussion, the audience enjoyed performances from four up-and-coming artists.
First up was singer-songwriter Nat Oaks, who brought the vibes with pop charm and hip-hop production, before Laura Dia treated everyone to her alt-R&B sounds.
t l k span cinematic ambient, downtempo electronic, and skewed pop tunes, before bassist and producer, Marla Kether, wrapped the evening up with a DJ set.
